Again, this is a batch of photos that I had in a blog a while back. Mostly it's second tier shots that I didn't plan on using, but some of them are keepers.

Nina Gordon & Louise Post of Veruca Salt, seconds after an amazing live set in the waning daylight hours at Glastonbury 1995.
They were about halfway down the steps leading off of the stage when I asked them to pose.
Drenched in yummy girlsweat and feeling the adrenalin rush of a happy British crowd, they leaned over the railing and let off some steam at me.

Nina, I'm sorry I used this picture, but it's so great. I know, your tongue looks like a cock, but you still look amazing.

Yes, it was Nina's quote. She saw the photo a year later or something and said "oh my God, please don't display this. My tongue looks like a cock." I hydroplane (we think he means "paraphrase"), but those are very close to her words.
Also, I took a picture of the two of them, back in the happier days, holding each other's face and sticking their tongues out, actually connecting and starting to kiss. After a couple of minutes Nina said something like "oh, there's no way" and bent it, crushed it, scrunched it, and folded it into a million folds.
I still have it, but it's not very easy to make out. Maybe CSI could do it.
Wouldn't it have been great to have that printed somewhere after the breakup? I guess her brain projected into the future, saw that happening, and stopped it cold.

Here's a link to the exact set they played at Glastonbury where this shot was taken. If I were in the video, I'd be down in the photographer's pit stage right, facing the stage, left if you're on it. But I'm not. Anywho...
They came walking down the gangplank backstage and I asked them to lean over the railing for some shots. You can see Louise's blue dress strap and her two necklaces, and Nina looks like she has no shirt on because she was wearing a halter top, but you can see the same necklace. How cool. I just found this:

OK, I went a little crazy with the bokeh there...I used sth like 3 textures with bokeh, blending them and manipulating them in various other ways, and finally added some more bokeh with the shimmer brushes that I have...so yeah...

This was taken in jolly old England 13 years ago with a Polaroid Captiva. Nina and Louise from Veruca Salt were the only rockstars I'd met who had the same camera, and they told me that Lou Reed had one too. I even saw them take a picture of a crowd with one while they were onstage.
Polaroid Captiva, a sunny day in June, 1995, about 8 miles outside of a town in the U.K. called "Hare Hatch".
This was part of my "no, let's not do a closeup this time, let's have something in the foreground" phase.
She photographs beautifully.
