Keeping it simple with the Canon EF, Canon 135mm f2.5, on Kodak Portra 400 (the new stuff). By keeping it simple, of course I mean 'didn't have anything better to post but felt like checking in' :)
This camera, freshly c.l.a.'d, has some light leaks. It looks like they took the time to remove the old light seals around the door, but neglected to replace them before sending it back to me :( So back it goes!
I haven't had a lot of time, but it's all good. The DSLR might start seeing more use. Anyway, my chances of catching up with everyone are about as good as me finishing a roll of film (never happens), so send me email or Tweet; let me know so I can follow you.

When a lava flow encounters homes in lush tropical forests on Kilauea Volcano, Hawaii, it both destroys and creates. Homes go while tree molds grow.
When that liquid rock called basalt is erupted onto the surface at Kilauea Volcano, Hawaii, it’s about 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s roughly the temperature of molten gold. Anything flammable in the path of such lava had better move aside, or expect to be burned. People at home in harm’s way almost always have adequate warning to safely flee, often with a car load or two of possessions. But a house is doomed, unless the owner has both the time and money to hire someone to put the house on wheels and haul it away.
